Spanning an extraordinary 2500 square feet of prime real estate on Hong Kong Island, this incredible apartment overlooks a panoramic view of Hong Kong. The apartment is unique on its own, hence the design is inspired to portray a sense of modern and elegance, while ensuring the parity and harmony of the view and its interior design.
The client's brief was simple - a modern and elegant but not over the top design. Tony Leung, the director of Realistic but Gorgeous Interiors, took on the challenge to achieve a simple modern design with a touch of elegance. The goal was to create a warm atmosphere by incorporating ambient lighting, while also considering the client's budget and practicality.
The selection of materials played a crucial role in this project, as the client had high expectations. To accentuate the elegance of the apartment, gold-colored stainless steel was chosen, adding a luxurious touch from the living room to the bedroom.
The design of this residential interior aims to bring life back to a simple and real state, providing comfort and a natural ambiance. Tony Leung believes that simplicity and indifference are forms of wisdom. Life is a process of choice, and by subtracting unnecessary elements, one can embrace a simple and happy calmness. The design embodies this philosophy, creating a space that exudes tranquility and warmth.
Completed between October 2016 and June 2017 in Hong Kong, this project has garnered recognition and acclaim. The design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
